Updated: May 16, 2018

On Harriers Hill the sun shone brightly and all the athletes without exception performed brilliantly.

Saturday 5th May 2018 Hereford

U15 Girls and Boys

Unfortunately due to injuries and some sickness some of our regular athletes were unable to compete in the Welsh Junior League in Hereford at the weekend. Get Well soon Guys! This did not dampen our team spirit and many of the athletes rallied round, put themselves forward in events that they’ve never competed in before! First off was Samuel Breese who had never set foot in the cage, competed in the Hammer and with no training came in an incredible third place, Congratulations Sam. Cate Davies, Libby Davidson and both Lilys’, Hart and Williams also stepped up to the mark and covered the gaps, thank you girls. Samuel Davies was the top point scorer in the U15 Boys also Antonia Dawes our U15 girls top scorer, both came away with 2PB’s each. Our newbie Logan Maskell competed in the 100m,200m and Long Jump to the delight of his whole family watching. Erika Jarrett first ever 300m teamed up with Bethan Morgan and both finished strongly with PB’s, respectively in 1st and 3rd place. Alyssa Baker, Amelia Fettis, Morgan Keen Williams and Spencer Daniels achieving PB’s in their events, together with Efan Bentall and Oliver Humphreys gaining a couple of PB’s to their name as well. And lastly not forgetting Ellie-Mae Wainwright and Morgan French competing strongly in the field.

By the end of the day, finishing off strongly, saw reorganised relays for both Girls and Boys. It was a beautiful day, everyone enjoyed the sun and fantastic performances.

A very big thank you to all the helpers, officials and supporters and mainly to the Athletes who made it a very enjoyable event!
