Welsh Junior League - U13s Report

Saturday 5th May 2018 Hereford

U13 Girls and Boys


U13 team and parents turned out in force to fill the bank in the sunshine at the south end overlooking the Hereford track.


For the girls Tiwaah Boateng and Olivia Gillespie powered Home in the 100m then formed a team with Addison Werner and Nia Parry in the 4x100m relay .


Addison Werner provided some impressive technique over the hurdles then teamed up with Codi Oliver and Nia Parry to battle the scorching heat in the high jump. Mia Willetts ran a clinical race in the 800m displaying excellent pace judgment and a strong finish.


For the boys Aron Tugwell, Joseph Hall , William Bailey and Cameron Eley kicked things off in the 100m sprint then followed up with some great running in the 200m.


Harry Bradley turned up and meant business by firstly attacking the 75m hurdles with some determination. Aron, Harry, Cameron and William then took the sand like it was a summers day at the beach.


Iwan Dark turned up with a strong arm to take his Newport team through shot, discuss and Javelin.


The endurance group then put in some quality running in the heat with Harry Bradley and Freddie Roach taking on the field in the 800m with both displaying strong finishes whilst Harry Dawes and Finlay Davies showed some excellent pace judgment in the 1500m.


Aron, Cameron, Harry and Will then finished off the day in the 4x100m relay.


All in all a great display from the U13 athletes with some great support on what was a lovely day....
