23rd and 24th June - Welsh Junior Championships, Cardiff

A massive congratulations to all Newport Harriers athletes that took to the track this glorious weekend for another fantastic welsh junior championships.

Under 13 girls 200m found two Newport athletes on top form Tiwaah Boateng taking the silver medal to add to her welsh championship gold medal in the 100m on the Saturday and behind Tiwaah was the 2018 welsh champion Olivia Gillespie adding to her bronze medal from the 100m on Saturday. Congratulations girls it was a tough day battling through 3 rounds of 200m after battling 3 rounds the day before in the 100m but our girls stayed cool and pulled it out when it was needed.
