Sad News...

Sadly Andrew Adey recently passed away.

Andrew was only 47 years old He was a fantastic junior athlete with the club and won Welsh junior titles. Andrew still holds both the Under 17 and Under 20 club records set around 1990 for the long jump and was a very good sprinter. Andrew also held the club senior record for the long jump, taken from him in the mid 1990's.

A regular member of both junior and senor teams Andrew was forced to retire from athletics due to a back injury that remained with him throughout his life. Andrew suffered both mental and physical health problems in recent years. A quiet well spoken young man who has been taken at too early an age.
