What a weekend at the Welsh Senior Championships in Cardiff.......


Congratulations to the following Seniors who won medals:

Remi Adebeyi 1500m – silver, with PB

Dan Cork Shot – silver, with SB

Ashton Burnett 200m – gold


There were also numerous PB’S and SB’S:


Tom Evans PB in the 60m semi final

Carter Staples SB in the 60m heats

Ashton Burnett PB in the 60m heats

Ama Boateng SB in the 60m heats

Carter Staples SB in the 200m heats

Luke Gawthorn SB in the 800m heats

Jackson Mountford SB in the 1500m

Chloe Powell SB in the 1500m


Amongst the Senior races there were also some Junior events. Congratulations to the following who won medals:

U17 Theo Copestake SB and silver in the 400m

U15 Leo Stark 800M gold

U15 Henry Dawes 800m silver

U15 Ceri Griffiths SB and silver in the 1500m

U15 Harry Bradley PB in the heats and bronze in the 300m

U13 Anya Brady PB and silver in the 1500m


More sterling performances from the Junior athletes with PB’s and SB’S being achieved:

U17 Christina Griffith SB in the long jump

U17 Mollie Sage SB in the 300m heats

U17 Antonia Dawes SB in the 300m heats

U15 Nia Parry SB in the 300m heats

U13 Dylan Bevan PB in the 300m

U15 Amy Garrod PB in the 1500m
