National Representation for Newport Harriers Athletes

Association of Colleges Sport National Championships 26-28 April, Nottingham

The AoC championships is one of the largest annual student sporting events in the UK, with 1720 student athletes from further education and sixth form colleges across England, Wales and Northern Ireland taking part. Events take place across 13 different sports – including badminton, rugby, cross country running and indoor cricket.

Ellie Robinson was selected for Welsh Colleges in cross-country and finished 13th out of 70 competitors. Ellie was second Welsh athlete to finish and helped propel the team to bronze medal position.
