Newport Harriers had three athletes competing for Wales in this cross country international match between Wales, England, Scotland and Ireland.

Lily Williams made her international debut in the Junior Girls race, finishing 20th but was the second Welsh girl to finish from the 8-strong team.

Spencer Smith followed up his Celtic Games selection with a Welsh vest in the Intermediate Boys race, coming 25th.

Having won a track vest last year, Jackson Mountford gained his first cross country Welsh vest in the Under 20 Men’s race, coming 38th.
