Cariad Roberts reports: The long uphill section seemed never ending, as soon as we turned off the Roman road and started heading up to the summit of Drum it was super misty, you could only really see the about 4 meters in any direction but the trail was very clear so no worries about getting lost! About 15 minutes from the summit there was a really strong side wind and by the time I got to the summit it was so windy I thought I was going to get blown off into the mist, never to be seen again! All of the effort of the uphill was worth it though for the glorious downhill back down Drum, around Garreg Fawr and back into Llanfairfechan. It was pretty exhilarating that one!
